We believe in connection over compliance, creating a place where children feel safe, seen, and celebrated, and parents feel truly heard and supported. We're here to honour neurodiversity, not correct it, and witness the transformative power of genuine understanding.

Our inspiration: a different path for adelaide families

Nurtura Therapy Services was born from a deep desire to create something different — a space where neurodivergent children are not viewed through a lens of deficits, but through a lens of dignity, strengths, and possibility. We understood that many families navigating diagnoses like Autism Spectrum Disorder and Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder in Adelaide were exhausted, not because of their children, but due to systems that prioritised compliance over connection. Our vision is a place where children feel safe, seen, and celebrated, parents feel heard and supported, and play is respected as powerful, meaningful work. We honour neurodiversity, we don't correct it.

Play isn't a break, it's the therapy

At Nurtura Therapy Services in Adelaide, play isn’t a break from therapy — it is the therapy. Children naturally process emotions, build skills, and explore relationships through play. Our intentional and therapeutic approach, through imaginative games, sensory exploration, creative expression, movement, storytelling, and special interests, gently supports growth in emotional regulation, communication, social connection, problem-solving, and coping skills. We embed skills in meaningful, joyful experiences, making growth feel natural, not forced. This child-led approach ensures therapy is safe, enjoyable, and truly transformative for every child.

At Nurtura Therapy Services, we are a team of compassionate, highly trained clinicians deeply committed to supporting neurodivergent children and their families in Adelaide with respect, warmth, and expertise. Our backgrounds include specialised training in child development, emotional regulation, attachment, sensory processing, and play-based therapeutic approaches. We have extensive experience supporting children navigating differences such as Autism Spectrum Disorder, Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder, anxiety, and social-emotional challenges. Beyond credentials, our passion lies in respecting neurodiversity, believing children need to be understood, not reshaped.
